Prior to founding Vemics, Mr. Zolla was Chief Operating Officer EVCI, a
public distance learning and learning technology company. He spent his
early career in the advertising and newspaper industries and moved into
education sales as national sales manager of Guidance Associates
increasing sales from $7mn to over $25mn in eighteen months.
Mr. Zolla earned an award for "Best Distance Learning Program" at the International Telecom Convention in 1992 for his 75 part interactive series "America: A Cultural Mosaic" still in use as a classroom tool for middle school social studies throughout the United States. He was President of Distance Learning Associates, the first content aggregator in the K-12 and corporate distributed learning space in the United States. He also served on the White House Committee for technology in education chaired by former vice-president Al Gore. Fred has served on the Board of Directors of the New York Film Festival and functioned as chairman of its non-broadcast division from 1992 through 1996. He has spoken and taught at universities and educational conferences throughout the United States, London, Paris, Rome, Madrid and Korea on the topic of "integrating distance learning resources in the classroom and workplace". - Craig F. - Mr. Stout has 20 years of operational and corporate finance experience across multiple industries. He began his career in the strategic business development group at Elders IXL, a London based firm. During his time with Elders IXL, he was part of the European acquisition team which identified businesses of strategic value, initiated acquisitions and developed the execution plans. After leaving Elders in the early nineties Mr. Stout ran several successful businesses in the finance, eCommerce and technology industries. For the past five years he has consulted several companies regarding growth through strategic acquisitions, restructuring and refinancing. Prior to joining Vemics, Mr. Stout was a consultant to the international reinsurance firm Renaissance Re, working on operation projects including assisting in managing the conversion to Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
- Tom Dorsett

Mr. Dorsett brings 13 years experience in the healthcare IT market. He was co-founder of NuScribe, a privately held medical software company recently acquired by Vemics, where he served as Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to NuScribe, Mr. Dorsett founded and operated Channel Management Software, a reseller of medical voice recognition and electronic medical records applications. He served as sales manager for MD Productivity, a manufacturer of voice recognition driven healthcare documentation applications and he was Chief Executive Officer and founder of Industry Works Software, a manufacturer of management applications for the transportation and insurance industries. - Brian Howell

Mr.
Howell joins Vemics with nearly 20 years experience in the
videoconferencing business. As one of the 5 start-up employees of
PictureTel Corporation in 1984, Brian contributed to significant
technological advances in the marketplace including development of the
first integrated Rollabout Videoconferencing System, MCU, and PC-based
videophone.
During his 16-year tenure with PictureTel, Brian studied the problem of team collaboration and designed several prototypes to address this concern given comprehensive customer feedback. He has held a variety of engineering roles in product research, development and marketing and currently holds three U.S. patents, one for the development of an education-based videoconferencing solution. Prior to joining Vemics, Brian was involved in several other start-ups in the areas of Web collaboration, PC virus protection, and low latency QOS IP routers. - Glenn C. Kessler

Dr.
Glenn C. Kessler is Chairman Emeritus of the United States Distance
Learning Association. He is a member of the National Coalition on
Technology in Education and Training and the Digital Futures Coalition.
As a pioneer of Internet applications he served as Chairman of the
Education Category of the National Information Infrastructure (NIl)
Awards. He has also served as a member of the National Education Goals
Panel, Task Force on Education Network Technology. He is the past
Chairman of the Virginia Council on Information Management that
oversees all technology Policy and Planning in the Commonwealth of
Virginia.
Dr. Kessler has served as a member of the Executive Board of the National Education Telecommunications Organization, and the Advisory Council of the American Academy of Achievement Television Network. He has been a member of the Steering Committee of ONLINE EDUCA, providing International Conferences on Technology Supported Learning. He also served the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development as a member of the International Polling Panel and the Curriculum/Technology resource Center Advisory Committee. He is an associate with the Global Village Schools Institute and The Mecklenburger Group. A frequent keynote speaker and panelist at many national and international conferences, he has also been involved in the organization, and production of many national and international conferences and teleconferences. He has directed the research, design, development, production and evaluation of many innovative interactive technology and distance learning projects. - John Walber

- Mr. Walber has served as Director of Instructional Design since 2003. Prior to joining Vemics, Mr. Walber served as Chief Operating Officer of HorizonLive, Inc. where he was responsible for all aspects of the start-up e-learning platform company. Mr. Walber also served as Vice President Telco Sales for General Instrument Corporation where he developed and implemented marketing and sales strategies targeted at Regional Bell Operating Companies, GTE and other independent telephone companies. He has an MBA in Internet Marketing & Communication.
