Continuing Medical Education Programs (CME / CEU)

The CME /CEU programs are targeted at doctors, nurses, administrators, families and other caregivers. These programs are typically delivered free to the end user through underwritten grants supported by pharmaceutical, medical device and insurance companies with need to deliver accurate and timely information into the hands of their target markets. Vemics designs these programs to be non-commercial in nature so they qualify for ACCME certified CME /CEU credits which doctors, nurses and others must have in order to maintain their right to practice.

Through our exclusive relationship with EParent, we have unprecedented access to all levels of sponsors, doctors, caregivers and consumers, who deal with people with chronic lifelong disabilities and special medical needs. Vemics has established relationships with advocacy groups and national associations and organizations such as The Child Neurology Foundation (CNF), The American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry (AADMD) and PhARMA. LiveAccess Technology Platform

Vemics core technology platform replicates the same dynamic found in traditional classrooms or live in-person meetings. The single software architecture integrates fully interactive voice, video and data and delivers them in a single, easy-to-use web-based interface.

Participants can see, hear and interact directly with trainers, instructors, industry experts and each other in real-time and can use and share computer based applications and other multimedia tools without leaving their workplace. The presenter can upload meeting and training material before hand or on the fly, use audio video and data tools selectively and can pass control as easily and fluidly as if everyone were in the same room.

The technology can connect up to 90 end points in a single session. An end point can be a single person on a laptop, a few people around a desktop or many people in a conference room or larger facility. The platform allows Vemics to manage fully interactive video (30 frames per second) and integrated high quality, wideband audio channels by simply pointing and clicking on any person on the participant list, in any combination at any time.

Because the platform enables high frame-rate, fully collaborative video / audio sessions, it is more powerful than asynchronous computer based training (CBT) and is a more realistic and rewarding classroom/meeting experience than synchronous web collaboration or web based training (WBT).
